A bit hypocritical perhaps, but at least two Uncharted games and one Gears of War game could use some serious updating. Both Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune (2007) and Gears of War (2006) are horribly outdated compared to modern standards. It would be cool to see these games redone with modern gameplay and graphics. Uncharted: Golden Abyss (2012) was released on the PS Vita. Seeing it remade for PS4 would be sweet as pie. Personally, I’d love to see the collections bundled together ala Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Gears of War: The Locust War Collection would be so cool to have.
With Red Dead Redemption 2 ‘s prior trailers featuring staggering cinematography on par with that of the striking images and scenes that There Will Be Blood features, Anderson’s film is a notable departure from the typical “Western.” However, there’s no denying that the film’s deep exploration of a volatile turn of the century in America is one that shares some similarities with the time period that the Red Dead titles have taken place in, along with featuring a brilliant (and terrifying) character in Day-Lewis’ role as Daniel Plainview.
Max Payne 3 generally did well upon release, gaining favourable reviews. However, one problem which stuck out among many of its fans was the length of its cut scenes. The game contained over three hours worth of cut scenes. While some people do enjoy the cinematic experiences games can bring, the fact that the majority of these cut scenes were not allowed to be skipped meant those wishing to blaze through the action were unable to do so. At the PlayStation Experience we learned that a new God of War game is in development, but that we might have to wait another year. However, that doesn’t mean we won’t get a teaser. God of War III’s teaser trailer went live June 2008, a full two years before the game hit store shelves. It’s been five years since we’ve gotten a proper God of War game, and many are itching to know what’s going to happen in Kratos’ next outing. Hopefully we’ll get a few hints in 2015.

As one of the most anticipated game releases of the fall — if not the most anticipated — Red Dead Redemption 2 has come a long way from when we first heard that Rockstar Games would be returning to the epic Western world it crafted with the previous game in 2010. From what we’ve seen so far of the game, Red Dead Redemption 2 ‘s depiction of the Wild West will look even more detailed and expertly crafted in the eight years since we last saw it, and the unique beauty of its setting will (seemingly) come to life like never before.
There is an argument to be had about games and DLCs. While some people love DLC content, others are frustrated when they buy game’s at full price, receive half a game and the rest is fed to them in pricey DLC content released at later dates. This is certainly not the case for GTA V which gave us a vast, in-depth story, following three main characters around Los Santos as their lives intertwined in the weirdest, yet most perfect way. However, after the story was done, we were left wanting more in the ways of single player action. In the last instalment, we were granted two DLC stories like The Ballad Of Gay Tony and The Lost And Damned . Yet here we are, waiting for more from GTA V only to be given nothing.
