Once you have defeated the Whiteclad Noble, instead of proceeding along the main path, go through the cave to your left. Continue straight, defeating any enemies along the way, and eventually, you will reach the third bell. Ring it to be teleported to The Ancient Guanyin Temple — your first secret area in the game.
When selecting spells, both the Red Tides and Azure Dust Transformations are decent choices here. Burning the Sage can cause quite a lot of damage, making Red Tides a good choice, but Azure Dust makes you incredibly tanky and can knock him flat if you manage to land the heavy attack or spell. The new parrying spell you got from the Tiger Vanguard, Rock Solid , is excellent for knocking the Sage off balance and giving you a chance to counterattack. In terms of dishing out damage, Pluck of Many is insanely good at tearing through the Yellow Wind Sage’s health bar if you use it right before, or right after, knocking him down.
Continue along the main path and cross the wooden bridge. You’ll encounter an enemy in your path — defeat it, and a cutscene will play where you meet another monkey. Don’t worry, he isn’t an enemy; rather, he’s a merchant who sells valuable items. However, don’t follow him just yet. Instead, take the bridge to the left and open the chest to acquire valuable resources.
After being reduced to around 1/3 of his health, the Yellow Wind Sage will start using some more powerful Blood Magic Attack Patterns. When he stabs his staff into the ground and begins waving his arms, he will conjure a tornado that slowly follows you around the arena, damaging you and throwing you into the air if you come into contact with it. Since it moves slowly you can avoid it by moving away from it as you continue to fight, remaining aware of its position so you can retreat if it gets too close. Naturally, using the Wind Tamer will dispel the tornado, so use it when it’s off cooldown and take advantage of the brief stun to attack the boss.
The trading system in Black Myth: Wukong also could use some improvements that wouldn’t be difficult to implement. There are several NPC merchants in the game who sell useful resources, upgrades, and key items, with their inventories expanding as the game progresses. Additionally, the in-game store at Shrines (similar to bonfires) offers specific goods tied to the chapter area or secret locations, which makes shopping unnecessarily complicated.
